Say Hello to PingSpectra!

Ping Spectra aims to be an alternative sonar which allows reusing existing depth transducers with modern and improved hardware and electronics.

The project supports a high-level of configuration and provides the frequency matched data via wireless and usb interfaces to incorporate into free tools for display.

Future goals include phased-array sonar, higher frequency (1MHz+) transducers as well as dopplar on side scan transducers to determine water speed.

Initial alpha prototype development continues in 2026.
